Cedric Poole's extracts from the journals of John Wesley which are in the public domain. The extracts are from years which correspond with the day and date of the current year (2011). So when JW says it is Monday 5 Sept 17.., it is Monday 5 Sept, 2011 . Over the years I have found this to be an interesting way to read John Wesley's journals. I hope you do too.

Sun. 18 Dec 1737 I was seized with a violent flux, which I felt came not before I wanted it. Yet I had strength enough given to preach once more to this careless people; and a few ‘believed our report’.
